报告摘要：Quarks and gluons produced in high-energy particle collisions hadronize before their electric charge can be directly measured. However, information about the electric charge is embedded in the resulting collimated sprays of hadrons known as jets.  One jet observable sensitive to the electric charge of quarks and gluons is the momentum-weighted charge sum constructed from charged-particle tracks in a jet, which is called jet charge. In this talk, I will disucss the possibile application of the jet charge in the electroweak and Higgs physics.

报告人介绍：岩斌，2012年毕业于bat365官网登录入口，2017年获得北京大学bat365官网登录入口博士学位。2017年至2019年在美国密歇根州立大学做博士后研究员，2019年至2022年在美国洛斯阿拉莫斯国家实验室担任博士后研究员，并获得 Director’s Postdoctoral Fellow。2022年6月进入中国科学院高能物理研究所任副研究员。研究方向为 TeV 物理唯象学，具体包括希格斯和顶夸克物理，标准模型有效场论，对撞机物理，QCD 计算等。
