Assembled before bottling, the wine is then left to refine for at least three months in the bottles before being released.

Ruby red in color, to the nose it offers aroma of red fruits, violets and plums. In the mouth it is well-balanced, astringent and has a pleasantly fresh flavor. It has a long aftertaste and good nose-palate correspondence

Serve at 18° to 20°C. (64.4° to 68°F.) paired with red meat dishes, fouls, and medium aged cheeses.

Comments: This dark ruby red wine made with 100% Merlot grapes ages for 12 months in French oak barriques, and refines for at least an extra eight months in the bottles.

The olfactory examination reveals notes of blackcurrant, plums, bitter cherry, blueberries an violet. The aromas typical of barrique ageing, such as vanilla, liquorice, tobacco, cocoa, cinnamon, and pink pepper hit the nose after a few minutes. In the mouth it is rather tannic at first, but mellows almost immediately, giving way to the softness typical of the Merlot. Well structured, robust, and nicely balanced. Serve at 18° to 20°C. (64.4° to 68°F.)

Comments: Made with 100% Sangiovese grapes grown in rich soil, this wine refines for 12 months in French oak barriques.

The color is ruby red. At first, the nose catches floral hints of sweet violets and dried flowers, followed by nice, intense fruity scent of blackberries and blackcurrant jam, with balsamic and mineral notes, light toasting and vanilla. It finally ends with hints of liquorice and ground coffee. In the mouth it is full and well-balanced, with remarkably fine tannins, whose harshness is tamed by the soft, elegant fruity flavor. It has a rich, mouth filling body, nice nose-palate correspondence and long lasting aftertaste.

Serve at 18° to 20°C. (64.4° to 68°F.) with grilled and roast meat, venison, spare ribs, and aged cheeses.
