Italian Region: Tuscany
Producer: Azienda Agricola Buccia Nera
Types of Olives: Moraiolo, Frantoio
Bottle: 250 ml, 500 ml, 750 ml, 3 lt. 5 lt.
Bottles per case: 12 bottles each for all sizes under 1 lt. In addition, the 750 ml is also available in 6-bottle cases.
Yearly production:
To US market: 3,000 bottles (250 ml), 2,000 bottles (each, 500 ml and 50 ml), .
Comments: Made with Moraiolo and Frantoio olives harvested by hand in October and November from trees grown at 200 to 500 meters of elevation with a southwestern exposure.

The olives are crushed by a continuous-cycle press at a controlled temperature kept under 30°C. (86°F.) and the oil is extracted with a centrifuge. There is no filtration, but the oil is clarified naturally by successive periodical decanting.

Excellent olive oil for daily use in salad seasoning, pinzimonio, and cooking. To the nose it has crisp aroma of fresh cut grass, In the mouth it is harmonious, balanced and persistent, with pleasant fruity notes of olives and artichokes.

Comments: Made with Moraiolo, Frantoio, Leccino, and Pendolino olive varieties, harvested by hand from around mid October to almost the end of November from trees grown at 120 to 500 meters of elevation.

The color is straw yellow with golden highlights. The nose is very intense and complex, while in the mouth it is a touch bitter, tangy and very persistent.

Excellent as salad seasoning, on soups, for dipping and drizzled on grilled meat or steamed seafood.

Comments: Delicately sweet extra virgin olive oil made with Frantoio and Leccino olive varieties mixed in equal parts. To the palate it has a pleasant, slightly bitter taste of ripe artichoke. The olives are harvested by hand and pressed cold.

The color is brilliant green and the oil has an intense perfume of olives.
